New Almaden Journal

The historic town of New Almaden is nestled in the Capitancillo Hills, twelve miles south of downtown San Jose California, and right at the base of the Quicksilver Mine (now a park). The Quicksilver mine was established in 1846, making it Califoria's oldest mine.
